Lynda Hamel, née le 15 avril 1960 à Montréal, dernière d'une famille de 5 filles… elle a grandit à Repentigny. Dès son jeune âge, elle aimait explorer les médiums de toute sortes. Le jour où elle a essayé par elle-même de peindre à l'huile, elle est tombé en amour avec ce médium... pour ne jamais sans éloigner. Elle a prit plusieurs années de cours avec Claire Marie Gosselin (Maître en arts visuels et médiatiques). Elle aime se perfectionner. La compréhension de la couleur est pour elle une quête de mieux-être. Sa passion de vivre, son imagination débordante, son rire communicatif se perçoit dans ses oeuvres qui sont à la fois vivantes et colorées, attrayantes et recherchées. Elle sait faire vibrer la peinture. Les couleurs sont toujours étincelantes.
