Beef is King II

This piece was inspired by watching sustainability documentaries about food production. I discovered that the footprint of 1lb of conventionally produced beef is the equivalent to one person showering for a year in terms of water usage, approximately 1800 gallons of water. I started by creating the background using acrylic paints and and my hands to massage the canvas. Then i used spray paints and oil pigment sticks to draw the symbols. The artwork is signed on the front and varnished. This piece pairs up nicely with Beef is King I
