Here is the sixth opus of the "Contemplation" series, an abstract expressionist painting completed in February 2021. This lyrical abstract painting evokes a kind of green water body from which a river flows. In what looks like a night sky, rocky elements such as meteorites give a spatial and lunar dimension to the landscape. In places, in the mineral soil that surrounds the water, springs seem to emerge from the rock. International shipping Sent rolled in a tube. This method is especially safe, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched and eventually framed by a local framer upon arrival. Upon delivery, we highly recommend you send any works directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork. Bill and certificate of authenticity
Through his painting purified of all concrete meaning, in which forms and colors are sufficient for themselves as the only means of expression, Théophile DELAINE tries to crystallize our imaginations, our answers and our research, creating at the end paintings inviting to reflection and contemplation. "Each painting is a snapshot of my soul" he like to say "and i feed it with my trips, contemplating and walking through landscape, mountain and meeting different people in the world" After several years studying art and music (University Paris VIII & Sorbonne), Théophile Delaine has been painting in various parts of the world for more than 20 years. From his native Champagne to Crete, Limousin to Benin and after ten years in Madagascar, he is seduced by the Reunion island where he settled in early 2015 to devote himself fully to his passion.
