Godstand Osimeh Ederibhalo (b.1993) in Edo state, Nigeria. He obtained his Higher National Diploma (HND) with Distinction in painting from the federal Polytechnic of Auchi, in 2018 and had a year internship. He is a Lagos-based Artist and He currently owns a private studio
Godstands was raised by his Uncle and several hands and his paintings are a distillation of experience, and emotion, that imply stories surrounding him. His works allow him to fill a surface to exude more psychological and personal stories from his adolescence up to his adulthood among people which helps him appreciate their lifestyle.

Godstands embodies the grit and character of his figure with a black natural skin tone and color quality rivaled by few, in combination with an abstractive background infused as a means of filling his voids and a balance of fear, and insecurity around him as he loosely rendered paintings of friends and strangers, capturing mode and moments in collapses of space and time.
In his paintings, he finds comfort, softness, delicate touch, and a gentle glide in his wet paint of either Oil and Acrylic. His approach is fused in between romanticism abstractive painting as he executes them on medium to large-scale canvas. He addresses simple and complex compositions with a mature eye and confidence and his colors are both vivid and atmospheric as he stains the background environment by rolling and wiping away paint with solvents inscribing a wide horizontal line to create a strong sense of tranquillity and calmness.
