To create art in its simplest form. Explore the foundation and possibilities of art thru self continuing adherence in visual art. My areas of interest are drawing, oil pastel, graphic art and sculpture (mostly painting: impressionism and abstract expressionism) . Unsatisfied with the flat effect of pigments applied with brushes, I used it to slice the colors thru a palette knife with constant speed and I achieved the texture and depth ( rough textured) I desired. Successfully achieved the said effect in my first art competition entry entitled "OUTCRIES” (now a collection of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Museum, see image below) in Non-Representational (Abstract). With my fascination of the style I applied since then in all of my artworks in non representational. Integrating now a days the said style in representational which is more than a challenge. With my fascination of expressive roughness and to support environmental awareness, Im currently recycling cigarette filters which is likewise a rough surface artworks in abstract expression
