About
The artist, Fanny Rice, is inspired by her travels around the world. Her passion is reflected through her abstract art via textured, fluid movements that abstract, colourful footprints of landscapes she has seen. Her paintings are a harmony of vibrant colours that feed the imagination while pleasing the eye. One can recognize her signature style by the textures, the reliefs, and the glossy finishes that provide richness to her work. Rice creations are both intriguing and elusive.
The artist is a creative loner. Alone in her studio, she feels comfortable and her paintings explode with confident colour. Rice has always had a creative gift and has perfected a style by striving to surpass herself. Each painting evokes freedom and open air that is foundwithin landscapes. She has a profound attraction to ocean scenery and has managed to infuse this passion for throughout her abstract art. The artist is represented by one of the most important gallery in Florida, the Art Fusion Galleries and by the galerie/boutique Les Petits Carreaux in Saint-Barthélemy.
