Acrylic on Canvas with Texture This piece has many layers to it approx 7, I'm an emerging artist from New Zealand and finding my style. I love using colours like reds, golds and blacks for me they exude power. I also love the way this peice has a reflective quality. I prefer to work in Acrylics with Texture paste, or course gel and also like to add Gold Leaf to my work. This also has Gold Leaf.
Abstract artist from New Zealand, self taught I work, in Acryic and texture and really want to share my art with as many people as I can. I love experimenting I use brushes, knives and all sorts of implements I like to work freely and spontaneously working the canvas until it is just right. My Abstracts are mixed media paintings, sometimes non-representational, sometimes representing the human spirit, emotion or land and seacapes. They are constructed of many layers and may include texture medium, washes.
