Ocean Sunrise

About artist: One of the happiest days of my life was in 1999, when I received my Canadian citizenship. It was always my dream to come to Canada and live close to nature and wildlife. I was drawn to its history and the possibilities of life in such a large country. At the age of 20 I started to experiment with all kinds of materials and colors to make creative art. Then life and work led me in other directions. Finally, years later in winter 2013, I started painting again, feeling connected to an inner world that needed to be expressed and the paintings came, one after another. My introduction to Woodland style paintings, to the native peoples West Coast Style art, plus everything from my earlier life including collecting art has shaped my work. Colors with clear lines and combinations of forms and shapes, communicate the ever developing and changing nature of the beautiful world in and around us. That is MyArt; embracing every paint stroke and color choice. Bringing everything I have to the canvas and seeing how it moves me and the people who I share it with. MyArt is in private collections in Switzerland and Canada. About art: Artist Biography Alex Pfaff was born 1961 in Switzerland. He predominantly paints in acrylic on canvas.
