When the intangible wind flow through branches of a tree, they gently rustle. The tree rocks back and forth above the ground, the roots anchor it down. The soft, uncertain, ever changing elements challenging the solid, rational, unmoving counterparts. The energy exchange between the tree and the wind when they meet is fascinating for me, this painting is a visualisation of the power dynamic between two forces.
