This artwork merges Western and Eastern aesthetics, reinterpreting the figure of the Mona Lisa in a traditional Chinese style. The figure is dressed in a warm-toned kimono with white and red accents, and her hair is adorned with elegant hairpins. The background features a serene Chinese garden with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, such as irises and wisteria, creating a harmonious blend of color and texture. The artist meticulously captures the details of the fabric and flora while preserving the figure’s enigmatic expression. This composition highlights the timeless allure of the Mona Lisa and explores cross-cultural connections. For texture before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish – satin varnish. The ends are painted. Series “Life in Avatar”. Created on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame.
