Black & White III is an abstract inspired by one of my favorite artists and time periods - Franz Kline and the avant-garde movement. This piece is heavily textured and the background has little tiny squares that are randomly highlighted. The dark black brushstrokes sit off the background by almost 1/8 inch. The painting is on 30” x 40” x 1.5" museum-grade gallery wrapped canvas. The sides continue with the black and white so framing is optional. It is wired and ready to hang. The painting will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Black and White Large Modern Abstract, Franz Kline Inspired Painting, MidCentury Modern Art, Bold Strokes Painting, Heavily Textured Art
I am a contemporary and abstract artist living in southern California. My work can be seen in galleries in Laguna Beach, CA, Dana Point, CA, and La Jolla, CA. I love saturated colors & textures that make you want to touch and explore what is there. Much of my work has an Asian influence and feel. I paint for my soul and to share my work with others.
