About this artwork
This painting was displayed on the National Arts Festival of South Africa's virtual exhibition in July 2021. The theme of the exhibition was Cultural Reflections. The misty rock in the background has an interesting history and has cultural and religious significance to the indigenous Xhosa tribes in the area.
