70x80 cm oil on canvas Symbolism. Metaphysical surrealism In my new series of paintings, I will try to convey the sensations of life, which I consider to be most real. They do not depend or depend very little on social constructs. They depend on the ability to see, hear, and most importantly on the ability to feel. These are the simplest inspirational things - the sun, the wind, the singing of birds, the play of light and other. The best moments of life, transformed by memory. I try to image this process. I combine different spaces and time intervals, just like our memory and the associative thinking work. At the same time, I not use the abstract forms exclusively (despite the fact that they can most fully express feelings) , because I believe that memory first always restores transfigured image and only then are reconstructed the associations with the former sensations and adds new details. So I use and abstract constructs, and recognizable images.
I work in the contemporary figurative style with elements of symbolism and surrealism. A positive existentialism is my philosophy that I bring to the audience. My interests refer to a uniqueness of a human being, an individual. I am trying to work in a scale close to a human size in order to create more powerful and real-life-like communication with my viewers. In my art I am striving to create a new reality where the inner world of a human soul projects on to the outer world and shapes it. I use the language of symbols. Symbolism in my art translates in to multiple messages and adds dimensions to the interpretation, as I am trying to avoid delivering one specific message. In our world our souls can suffer from self -destruction, loneliness and stress. All these negative elements can be treated with light and creativity, and the transformation will follow .
