Chaos and Order “The Urban landscapes of Maaike Wiarda strike you with their specific use of colours and the shapes that take the viewer to the painters’ philosophy. A visual walk through a chaotic world that appears to be in order. A colouristic intuitive expression of Chaos and Order as a continually returning theme. Every point of view gives another image. The world full of individuals with their own specific view on the world. Everything is the truth but also an illusion.”
