« "A-maze-ing Laughter," the most popular sculptural work from the 2009–2011 Vancouver Biennale, captivates crowds of visitors and inspires endless playful interactions. It was installed in 2009 in Morton Park (at the corner of Davie and Denman Streets), along English Bay in Vancouver’s West End. This patinated bronze sculpture—comprising 14 figures, each standing approximately three meters tall and weighing over 250 kilograms[4]—depicts the artist himself "in a state of hysterical laughter." A statement from the artist, Yue Minjun: "I appreciate your respect and passion for art. In creating this series of sculptures, my intention was to use art to touch the heart of every visitor and allow them to savor what art can offer. I am honored and happy to see my work exhibited in Vancouver. I can almost see your smiling faces in the depths of my heart." »

Je suis honoré et heureux de voir mon œuvre exposée à Vancouver. Il me semble percevoir vos visages souriants au fond de mon cœur. »
Born on the french side of the Alps, Louise Vanhelle has been inspired by Art since childhood. The colors, the textures, the happiness and joy are part of her artistic journey. Inspired by Movies and Music, she likes to express her feelings, emotions and frustration sometimes, through her art. She does prefer to work with Acrylic as she finds some textures and movement with it. Feminine energy and masculine energy are part of her journey as an artist. The magenta and the blue express the opposition of both sexes and energies. With the white color she can find some agreement between the man and the woman. Sometimes anger, sadness but always love are the values she wants to express to the public.
