Basuki Dasgupta is an intrepid storyteller, often recasting ancient fables in a distinctly contemporary context. His mixed media works feature a wide range of subjects including non-figurative studies, mythological imagery, and his trademark slant-eyed, puppet-like figures https://kynkyny.com/basuki-dasgupta/
