Made with layers of graphic printing paper painted and printed with ink and gouache to create a sense of movement and third dimension. The triangles and spikes together with graduated change of black to white and semi circles also recreate sense of movement and sound - the series Melancholy is closely attached to mood swings, music, sound and repetition of forms in nature.
