Gala night in Cannes

« I captured this photograph on the Croisette during a December night in Cannes, when the city carries a different kind of atmosphere. The streets are quieter, the air softer, and the lights of the Riviera seem to glow more intensely against the winter sky. That evening the Carlton shimmered under the night lights. Its façade reflected warm golden tones while the palm trees faded gently into shadow and the boulevard carried a calm nocturnal energy. The scene felt instantly cinematic — one of those moments where the architecture seems to breathe with the surrounding night. I stopped and captured the photograph. Later, through my alcohol-ink transformation, the scene began to expand. The architecture softened into luminous warmth while the sky deepened into cobalt tones and flowing gold textures. For me, Carlton VIP is not simply the image of a hotel — it is the feeling of Cannes at night, where elegance, light, and atmosphere merge into something timeless. »

"Gala night in Cannes" is an original photograph, taken in Cannes, that the artist has transformed through a fluid visual language inspired by alcohol ink. Architecture, Riviera light and nocturnal atmosphere blend here to form a composition in which the forms seem at once to dissolve and to come together. You are discovering a work of contemporary photographic art that invites contemplation. The architectural contours, the luminous bursts and the hues of the Cannes night respond to one another with softness, offering an unexpected view of the Côte d'Azur and its festive spirit.
