Thank you to Claude this is one of my attempts to paint water lilies. This miniature oil is on 140 lb. cold press paper. I used only my palette knife to capture the texture.
My venue is miniature paintings for your home and office. My new paintings reflect the changes to my art subjects. I've wanted to breakout of my safe mode and express the impressions of the color and movement and simplicity the beauty of the land and seascapes that bring me pleasure. Now in my later years I feel the urgency to push myself and throw the box away and live outside of it. My love of Maui with it's beauty and once you experience Island Time you will understand that retirement allows you to busy yourself with experience life on Island time.
