Manaf Attar (vaptized)

Manaf is an Artist, based in Berlin. He started drawing at a young age, inspired by heavy metal music and life around him. Back in Syria Manaf studied Graphic Design, then moved to Istanbul where he started his career, to finally land in Berlin, his current main residence. Manaf focused on doing his own kind of art — Dark doodles, tribal art and illustrations among other mixed techniques he developed throughout the years. During his first years in Berlin, he collaborated with different art collectives, performed live drawing, and exhibited his art in Germany's biggest music festivals such as Fusion, Lollapalooza, Bucht der Träumer and some underground techno raves. Moreover, he co-founded with his friends an art and music collective "Schabernack". Manaf is currently working as a freelance designer. His latest project is writing and illustrating a children's book with "Every Story Matters". It is expected to be finished by the end of 2022. Besides that, Vaptized is designing and demonstrating his artwork through embroidery on clothes "nopon. by Vaptized", whereas Manaf is a graphic designer as part of nopo?n. team.
