Stanislav Belovski

Born 1976, Sofia, Bulgaria For the past few years, my core focus of work has been the human image. The human image as a physical object, a face, a symbol, a re/presentation of the self, a story, a public image, a pr and advertisement instrument, pop cliché, policy. I am intrigued by the style, fashions of the human image now as well as the different meanings it provokes in our minds. In my works I like to combine and mix, and play with images and their senses. In my opinion, the contemporary concepts of the human image has started to form after World War II within the dominant cultures of the 20th century and still develop in correlation with them.
