Title :- KAALKUT Canvas Size :- 36"*48" Medium :- Charcoal and Soft Pastels KAALKUT "The manifestation of death" This painting symbolizes The avtaar of shiva as"NEELKANTHA". In the story of obtaining nectar, shiva took the universe under his guardianship and swallowed the entire kaalkut. consumption of kaalkut turned shiva's throat blue. Only shiva had the ability to control this weapon of devastation, so he came as savoir faire. This gesture show's his side of being saviour and benevolent. In this whole act lord shiva balanced the suppression of his anger very beautifully.
