Bits and pieces of me For many years I have been using paper illustrations, such as Master`s reproductions, photography books etc., deconstructing the images and reconstructing them in a way that defies recognition. I like to say that I give those illustrations new life! I work it so that they find themselves in a completely different context that what they were initially meant to be. Over the years I have challenged myself to let go of old ideals, to allow the work to flow from a place of mindless creativity. ? Colours are accepted as having specific meanings such as green representing positivity; red representing determination and yellow representing life itself. I use this theme frequently in my work. What holds my attention during the creative process is the definition of movement and color coordination for the simple pleasure of the eyes and the intellect. Essentially the objective of my work is to find your own message, pleasure and enjoyment!
