Andre Dallas

My accent is from Preston, my father is from Jamaica, and my ancestors and melanin from Ghana. Through my various artistic media (lyrics, paint, video, textiles and more), I aim to creatively and critically engage with all of these aspects of my identity, as well as the interactions between them, and the historical and ongoing processes which have caused and affected those interactions. I describe myself as a Pan-Afrikan, and my dream is equal rights, justice and unity of all Afrikan people at home and abroad; I strive to help in any way that I can to achieve these goals. I believe that to bring about a change in a person, one must engage their mind and heart simultaneously, and I reason that are is the perfect vehicle for this. Forward ever!
