I was interested in art in my initial phase because I was very fascinated by tattoo art. I was a student of management back then. Once I met a friend who was practicing tattoo art. In order to learn more on art I started visiting art galleries. Then onwards I searched for a place that provided art education. This is how I got into Nepal Fine Art College. I got very excited by the impact that art created to an individual. Art created a profound impact on me. I enrolled into fine art college. There I got equipped with the skills and academic aspect of fine arts. Then on, I came to know that merely learning skill was not enough to express the creative experiences and imagination. I started a personal research on human behavior and their surroundings. Here the surroundings that I am in very much has a root in the ancient cultural continuation. This is the situation of contemporary Nepal. Therefore I started incorporating carious cultural motifs, introducing the philosophical aspect in my art works. This is how I metaphysically started exploring the creative dimension. This exploration expanded even more in my master level art education. Now I believe my art stands on its own as an individual identity. However, it has various significant elements that manifests the “Nepaliness” in my work up until now I Hhave participated in various art workshops and exhibition. I have also done a solo art exhibition titled- “ KuraAniKuraharu (Bright Rusty Matters)”. I also have explored my creative identity through installation and performance art,. Collaborating with foreign artists such as Bangladesh and japan was an eye opener to me. Now I prefer to call myself a pluralist who believes in initiating conscious experimentation by merging various genres of art such as performance, installation, video art and ofcourse painting as well.
