This modern psychological portrait captures the tension between inner resilience and external chaos. A young woman with silver-white hair meets the viewer with calm determination. Behind her, smoke and flames rise from a burning building—reflecting the nightly missile and drone attacks on Kyiv amid Russia’s war against Ukraine. This urban destruction symbolizes instability and fear shadowing everyday life. Her posture, wild hair, and melancholic eyes tell a story of human dignity, emotional strength, and hope in times of crisis. Blending hyperrealism and symbolism, the painting invites reflection on freedom and endurance. Created with Dutch Amsterdam acrylics on fine Italian Unico canvas, finished with satin varnish and painted edges. Signed, certified, and carefully packed for safe delivery.
