SCÖFF Born in Quebec, Scöff began drawing just a little later than his first steps, while showing a growing interest in graffiti art and the hip-hop culture. CREATION The urban context is his favorite place for his works: putting criticism at the heart of his artistic project, he uses several spaces to speak out his art. His styles are diverse and innovative: caricatures, cartoons, graffiti, lettering, stencils, mandalas, totems and mosaics. He also has many passions like the practice of tattooing and the printing of thermal transfers on sweaters. PRECISION Scöff is driven by a constant desire to perfect his art. Careful and precise, his strength lies in the incessant integration of new styles while keeping quality, creativity and urbanism as cardinal points of his work. INTERCULTURALITY Scöff stands out for his intercultural experience. He enriched his perceptions and critical with numerous trips to the United States, Europe and South America. Particularly, he participated in the Festival Ojos Que Nos Pintan in the city of Bucaramanga in Colombia, where he became involved with the community of young graffiti artists while learning new techniques of wall graffiti. For him, the intercultural point of view is essential for the realization of his works and, for this reason, he continues to provoke regional and international meetings with several artists and communities interested in his art. NONVIOLENCE Scöff is a member of Descontamina, a non-profit Colombian organization that advocates for nonviolent action and peacebuilding. He is actively involved in nonviolent struggle and firmly believes that art can transform our lives. He participates in many social causes to raise funds especially for children’s dreams. Thus, Scöff is committed to nonviolence: his art is defined by a constant social critique of power structures that reaffirm marginality, poverty and injustice.
