Herman van Bon is a bit of a quirky personality and so are some of his images. He pictures mainly landscapes and sometimes transforms these into imaginaries. Recently he is also engaged in Haiku Photography (see his portfolio) "In my walks I experience hours of peace and contentment behind the lens of my camera. My passion for photography and art is an integral part of my life. It’s what I do and love. It’s me". - Herman van Bon Together with his wife, jewelry designer Yvonne de Wit, he is owner of Private Gallery Napier, in Napier, Western Cape, South Africa, where works of both are on display.
